What is a Static Website?
Static Websites
A Static Website is a website that presents the same information to every visitor. This can be text, images, audio or information in any other format. The website may have animations or slide shows ie. content that moves but the pages presented to the visitor are always the same and in that way the website is a Static Website.
This type of website is the simplest and cheapest to develop and is often the first step in having an Internet presence. For some types of business it may be all that is required but many find this type of site very limited. Often the owner will want to make frequent small changes to reflect the changes in the business. Sometimes a Content Management System would better suit the owners needs.
For a Static Website of between 5 and 9 pages I would typically charge £299.00. Domain name purchase and hosting would be extra but I can help with all the nessesary arrangments.
